With his current measurements, I would size down
TBH, I did size down I am a 2X in almost every other brawl it but I got this one in a one and it was still pretty big. The biggest issue is definitely that the adjustable straps on the back don't actually stay put. Using larger straps would easily fix this and then, If you size down, or they change the sizing just a bit, it would be pretty much perfect. But the straps would have to fit snug enough to stay put. I just put in a few stitches with black thread to hold them in place and now it works great for me

So cute and so comfy
I struggle to find bralettes that fit properly and still look cute. This is a winner for me. Not only does it look fab (that strappy back and charm are TO DIE FOR) but it's soft and the straps don't dig into my shoulders. I went by the size chart and ordered 1X and I probably could've gotten away with an XL but I'm still happy with how this fits. I can't wait to wear it for VDay and under some open-back shirts.
